I work with you to identify your goals and make a plan to enact them, when it comes to the stories you tell, the programs you offer, the exhibitions you create, and the educational initiatives you bring to life. I facilitate planning with a strong emphasis on listening and structure to make space for your mission, ambition, and capacity to shine.
I provide webinars or in-person workshops for staff and professional networks that want to strengthen their understanding and integration of science-backed playful learning; civic learning and engagement; teaching or interpreting whole, honest history, and developing programs for teachers, young people, and general audiences.
I create or support creation of museum education programs and resources. As a former secondary history teacher with more than a decade of experience developing award-winning museum education programs for students and classroom teachers, I work with small museums that want to make their stories and collections into resources that classroom teachers will use and programs that they will crave.
I support you in creating a fundraising plan, which may include creating a case for support, grant prospecting, generating testimonials, developing donor communications templates and calendars, and identifying membership tiers and benefits.
I offer a retainer model to make myself available for conversations, brainstorms, and gut checks on your schedule. This model gives you access to my wide-ranging reading across change management, leadership, pedagogy and learning science, history, and civic thinking.
